40 Years of Sprecher—A Campaign Worth Rooting For
Sprecher has been a Milwaukee staple for 40 years, and when we put together a campaign for their anniversary, we wanted to make it as bold and unique as their fire-brewed root beer.
From retro parties and Brewers partnerships to a Wisconsin brand collab series, our ideas celebrated Sprecher’s legacy while engaging new audiences.
And while this one’s still in the fridge, we’d crack it open anytime. (Also, we really liked their CMO.)

Problem: Sprecher wanted to make their 40th anniversary a big deal, but in a crowded beverage market, standing out isn’t easy.
Solution: We created a campaign that brought Sprecher’s legacy to life through:
- Sconnie-style brand collabs with Wisconsin icons
- A "no beer" Brewers game (yes, just root beer)
- An ‘80s throwback party for fans born in ‘85
- A bottle cap sweepstakes with a charity tie-in
And, of course, a smart media strategy to get it all in front of the right audience.




We’re still waiting to see if this one gets poured, but if Sprecher wants to bring these ideas to life, we’re ready to pop the cap.
